V for Valentine

<3 Day Protest

Do you like the idea of a V for Valentine theme and want to apply it to your local raid? Are you attending a similar raid and want some ideas for doing your part? Here are some helpful tips for bringing down the love hammer in your neck of the woods:
Some costume ideas:
* The traditional suit, consisting of a white shirt, black coat, pants and shoes. Ties should ideally be red in spirit of both tradition and the holiday itself. Boutonniere and corsage flowers are also options; red, white, and pink are all excellent colors for the holiday. Ladies may consider wearing a black gown or business skirt rather than pants, however please keep in mind the expected temperature for your area.

* Guy Fawkes masks (also known as V masks). Considering this is V for Valentine, adding this mask to your wardrobe is a definite plus for the entire raid, especially if you are an Anon that would normally wear a different kind of mask. If you want, and aren't worried about permanent markings, you can always make your GF mask red or pink or even covered in hearts. Heart stickers are readily available and removable for future raiding.

* Dress as cupid. This is an idea for the more extreme Anons that aren't worried about being cold. Bonus points if you are really hairy/out of shape. Please be aware of any decency laws in your area and obey the orders of local law enforcement at all times. If your protest happens in a residential area or an area where children are frequently present, please keep this in mind while planning your costume.

* Dress up. Bust out your formal wear and relive (or rehearse for) your prom, formal ball, or wedding.

* Wear red, pink, or white in abundance. Put lipstick marks on your mask or clothing (cheap, dark red lipstick is the most effective for this). Mess up your hair and untuck half of your shirt.

* Flowers. Red, pink or white carnations are cheap, readily available and a staple of valentine's day. If you're feeling classier, roses are a more expensive and impressive accessory. Bring enough to hand out to fellow anons, your handlers, or random passers by.

* YouFoundTheValentines. Buy a box of valentines from your local grocery or convenience store, and fill them out with "youfoundthecard.com" Leave them around town or hand deliver to people during the protest.

* Chocolates. Fuck cake.

* I take it back. Heart shaped or pink frosted cakes and cookies are excellent treats to share with fellow anons and your handlers (if local laws allow).
